We found ourselves 13-0 down after 20 minutes, Maesteg Quins scored two tries and one penalty, this was given to them through poor defensive errors and our ill discipline at the breakdown area.
After being shell shocked we then ended the half on the Maesteg line, but because of our lack of accuracy at the set-peice we came away with no points.
At the beginning of the 2nd half Ill discipline once again raised its ugly head, giving Maesteg good field position which eventually resulted in a 3rd try which was converted to make it 20-0.
This seemed to wake the Bulls up and gained good field possession which resulted with sub Rob Lloyd scoring a fantastic try after some clever play by the Bulls backline, Lloyd also converted.
The Bulls finished the strongest in the 2nd half and promised to score more points, but lacked accuracy, patience and most of all composure to get across the white wash.
We now need to take a look at ourselves and be honest this week in training, this team can beat any team in our league, but they have to believe in themselves and the system us coaches are trying to put to them.
