Bulls suffer heavy defeat at Trebanos
The dominant home team scored five tries and their fly half converted four of them.
The Bulls had managed a narrow win in the reverse fixture back in November but any thoughts of repeating the result were quickly diminished. Ill-discipline by Builth certainly didn’t help the cause. Three yellow cards were shown, two in the first half for No. 8Ben Duggan and prop Neil Jarman. The hosts took full advantage as half time approached, scoring two tries with Builth down to 13 men for a short spell.
Had Builth defended as well as they did in the second half it may have been a different story. Trebanos only troubled the score board once in the last forty again having a man advantage when Dan Oakley sat it out for 10 minutes for a high tackle.
Coach Nick Howells will have work to do if the Bulls are to end their season on a high when they play their final game of the 2015-16 season away to Pencoed next Saturday.
